The Boat House Bistro Wine Bar is the place to be. We are convinced that nowhere can be finer than sitting here on the shores of the Forth on the heart of the romantic old Burgh of Queensferry.
Robert Louis Stevenson fell in love with the place and wrote his novel, Kidnapped, in Queensferry.
Sydney has the Opera House, New York has the Statue of Liberty – we’ve got the Forth Bridge, the magnificent Victorian wonder.
Meet here with your friends and family and simply savour time together.
The Boat House Bistro Bar offers a fine menu of unhurried food, including fish, seafood, pasta and vegetarian.
If you like cheese to go with your wine, you’re going to love our platters! We have a rich and extensive choice of the greatest cheeses from Scotland and Continental Europe.
We often reflect on the beautiful view –
we never take the river for granted, nor the men and women who make up the voluntary crew of Queensferry’s lifeboat, one the busiest in Scotland.
The Boat House is proud to sponsor the annual Cheese and Wine Evening for the Queensferry Lifeboat. It is a vital part of our coastal community.
